chronologically since 1983..

  • Silter started his commercial life in 1983 as a manufacturer in the machinery sector.
  • In 1986, as a result of rapid developments in the textile and apparel industry, it decided to shift its core business to this area.
  • In early 1987, Silter launched the first Industrial Type Steam Iron under the trademark Silter.
  • The first steam-iron model, the ST/ B 200, still in Turkey and in the world today, is among the best-selling iron model.
  • Towards the end of 1991, its share in the industrial ironing market reached 50% and the number of imported irons from abroad decreased at the same rate.
  • At the beginning of 1992, Silter decided to start the production of the first model of Boiler Type Steam Irons with a capacity of 1L and at the end of the same year, the product was launched under the name of Silter Super Mini 2000 Professional.
  • In the same year, Silter started producing Foldable Type Ironing Tables in accordance with the needs of the market.
  • In mid-1994, Silter launched the Silter Super Mini 2002 Professional, a new version with a 2-liter boiler volume, as a result of the intense demand from the market for the Boiler Type Steam Iron.
  • At the end of 1994, the company reached 70% of the market in Boiler Type Steam Irons.
  • Beginning in 1995, Silter became the representative of OLAB solenoid valve, MATER pressure switch and COBRA bimetal thermostat in Turkey.
  • Silter, for the first time in Turkey, produced the Aluminium Frame PTFE ironing shoe. Subsequently, Silter started to manufacture other intermediate products, namely, Group Condenser, Pressure Switch, Microswitch, Silicone Hose. Thus, this allowed the company to respond demands of domestic and foreign markets with a wider product range. 
  • In mid 1997, Silter’s market share in the Turkish Garment Industry Steam Iron market reached 65% and its market share in the Mini Steam Boiler market reached 80%.
  • In mid-1998, it was decided to design new models of Boiler Type Steam Iron for home use. It is planned to make changes on the existing models by considering the needs of the houses and to launch this new product with the Gazzella trademark.
  • Silter established SilPa A.Ş. to market its products at the end of 1998.
  • The household Gazzella Super Mini series was launched in mid 1999. The product attracted great interest from both domestic and export markets, and preparations for the domestic and international promotion campaign of the Gazzella Super Mini series started without delay.
  • CE certificate was obtained for Gazzella Super Mini series.
  • In 2000, Silter turned one of its products into a Steam Cleaning Robot and put on  the market under the Goldental brand.
  • 2000 was the year when Silter started to reach its export targets. Today, Silter exports to 84 countries.
  • Silter launched the 3.5 liter Boiler Type Steam Iron under the name Silter Super Mini 2035 professional.
  • At the beginning of 2001, all administrative and manufacturing staff in Gungoren and Merter, which were located separately from each other, were merged in a 5000 m2 factory building in Buyuk Çekmece district.
  • In 2003, Silter Super Mini 2005 Professional, a 5-liter Boiler Type Steam Iron, was launched.
  • Immediately after, it launched the Boiler Type Steam Brush under the Firmini brand in the category of Purpose-Designed Irons in 1L, 2L and 3.5L water capacity options
  • In 2004, Foldable Type Ironing Boards, which have a patented folding mechanism in which the ironing board and mini steam boiler are integrated, were launched under the Harmony brand.
  • Silter produced the Domestic Steam Iron for home use again this year.
  • Silter produced the Full Automatic Steam Generator to sell only in export markets due to the intense demands from overseas markets. It took its place in the sector under the Super Midi series, which is an upper segment of the Super Mini series.
  • At the beginning of 2005, the Consumer Division of the company started started to take its place on the shelves of the retail sector.
  • In the middle of 2005, IVI Direct Sales Organization was established and sales staff for the houses were created under the brand IVI. Direct marketing was launched with more than 1200 sales representatives all over Turkey.
  • Silter established the electronic research & development department that it needs for its products over the years, adding depth to the R&D department. Thus, Silter R&D departments started to proceed on his way on two channels, mechanical and electronic R&D.
  • Gazzella Super Mini 2020 was launched in the consumer group amongst Boiler  Type Steam Iron range with 6 different models and achieved great turnover success with its striking design.
  • In 2006, Silter launched the new generation 3-Function All-in-One Steam Cleaning Robot under the name of the TrioMini.
  • In 2006, Silter produced brand-new domestic Ironing Board at Buyukcekmece facilities and launched it for the first time under the SQUAD brand. It was highly appreciated with its product quality as well as user-friendly design, and soon achieved great sales figures.
  • Gazzella Super Mini 2030 and 2040 models were introduced to the market in the Consumer Group amongst Boiler Type Steam Iron range and achieved a good sales graphic in the lower segment product range.
  • Silter, which has 18 registered brands, 6 patents, 22 design registrations and utility model certificates, has crowned its superior quality in 2006 with ISO-9001-2000 Quality Management Certificate.
  • In 2007, Silter launched its second class brand, MAGMA. Magma has been particularly successful in competing with counterfeit products launched abroad and domestically, fighting against domestic and foreign counterfeiter companies trying to copy Silter’s brand and design.
  • Silter started to manufacture snail-type suction fan for Ironing Boards and launched it under the POTENT brand.
  • In 2008, the Laundry Dryer was started to manufacture and presented to the consumers under the HANG’n DRY brand.
  • In the same year, Silter started manufacturing stepladder under the brand UP’n UP.
  • Silter, which had previously manufactured only industrial electric hand irons, produced and released industrial electronic hand irons in 2009 under the brands Saib and Silectro.
  • In 2009, the latest members of the Silter Super Mini series, Boiler Type Steam Irons with a capacity of 7.5 liters and 10 liters, took their place on the shelves.
  • In 2010, Silter, as the biggest manufacturer of Boiler Type Steam Irons in Turkey, decided to enter the traditional steam iron market, and started design work on the Azimut brand.
  • In 2010, he bought the building next to the factory plant and added a new factory to the manufacturing park. A total of 25,000 square meters factory size has been reached.
  • With the machinery investments made in the same year, the machine park was expanded and its production capacity increased by 40%.
  • In 2011, IVI direct marketing organization was incorporated into SilPa incorporated company and reorganization was initiated.
  • IVI’s sales network reached more than 1800 sales representatives in 64 provinces.
  • In 2012; Silter launched a new Barbecue design.
  • After the superior sales success of Squad household ironing boards, Silter launched Gazzella Duty ironing boards as a sub-segment product upon demand from the market.
  • Developed a new product under the TrioClean brand. TrioClean is designed as a compact product that can do in ironing as well as a steam cleaning robot.
  • in 2013, ST/B 200 industrial hand iron varieties, which were produced for the first time in 1986, reached more than 40 different models.
  • In 2018, Silter improved the Super Midi, Full Automatic Steam Generator in line with the expectations of the market and re-launched a very robust product. The product strengthened its position in the industry even more than before under the name of Super Midi K series.
  • In 2018, clothing stores operating in large shopping malls asked for an ironing table and ironing trolley. They wanted a compact ironing table to iron the clothes that customers tried and wrinkled, and could fit in their small square meter store. That’s how we brought Tiny Mini as a compact ironing table and Bitsy Mini as a compact ironing trolleyinto the world!
  • After the high acceptance of SuperMini and SuperMidi in the market, a new Boiler Type Steam Iron design was launched under the name of SuperMaxi, which started design work in 2012 and became the most perfect in 2019. The product, which is designed as a compact fully automatic steam boiler, has been brought to the final field testing stage as a product that will open new doors to the sector that has the full functionality of very big “Full Automatic Steam Boilers” in very small “Super Mini” sizes.
  • After deciding to enter the traditional steam iron market in 2010, Azimut NanoCera and Azimut InorCera, that is the first irons of the Azimut brand, were born ten year later in 2020.
  • Silter started working on the concept design of brandnew UV Air Sterilizer, which is expected to be launched in the summer of 2021.
